Volatility + Sell Pressure
The digital asset market has experienced extreme fluctuations and volatility as a result of significant sell pressure. These downward price movements have been amplified by rising economic uncertainty and speculation related to a potential U.S. Strategic Digital Asset Reserve.
Less Liquidity
Liquidity in the broader economy continues to contract. As can be seen by observing the intermediate aggregate (Global M2), which includes the amount of money in circulation and liquid assets with certain value in the future, there is little liquidity in circulation compared to past bull markets.
As assets which trade 24/7, digital assets' prices are often some of the first to respond to contractions in liquidity, acting as a leading signal for other markets.
Uncertainty and Pessimism
Despite the recent correction in the crypto markets people don’t seem to have a strong conviction that the crypto markets have bottomed because the traditional markets have just started to correct (TradFi markets still lead the economy).
